Multiple Administrator User Guide - Business Plan

This powerful feature increases the sharing capability and flexibility of Passpack by allowing the Owner Administrator to appoint additional Administrators within an organization. This is particularly beneficial for larger organizations. It ensures that their password management solution can scale to meet the increasing demands of a growing user base. As the number of Passwords and Teams increases, so does the administrative workload. By appointing multiple Administrators, the responsibilities can be evenly distributed across the organization, ensuring the management of Passwords and Teams is not reliant on a single individual. Below is a workflow diagram of how a Multi-Admin structure may look in an organization.

In this structure, the roles are defined by the organization's Owner and Master Administrator. All organization passwords reside with the Owner and can be shared directly from the Owner's account to Teams and individual Team Members. The reverse is also possible, with the Team Members able to update and create Passwords shared directly with the Owner.

The Owner can now appoint Multiple Administrators. The Owner defines which Passwords and Teams the Multiple Administrators can access and manage for the organization. It is essential to note that the appointed Multiple Administrators only have access to Passwords and Teams authorized by the Owner. The Owner can keep sensitive, confidential information private from the rest of the organization as required.

The appointed Multi-Admins have full rights to create, modify, and share passwords. They can make the required changes to Teams by adding and removing Team Members and controlling access to information for Team Members. The organization's Owner has full access to all Passwords and changes made to the Team structure by the Multi-Admins. There is no limit to the number of Administrators that can be appointed. In addition, the Owner can appoint a Financial Administrator to handle the payments for the Passpack service.
